Title:
MODIFIED β-GALACTOSIDASE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2015/046408
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to further increase the usefulness of β-galactosidase derived from Bacillus circulans, making possible use thereof in new applications. Provided is a β-galactosidase comprising an amino acid sequence represented by any of Seq. ID. No. 1 to 4, or an amino acid sequence having 90% or more homology to an amino acid sequence represented by any of Seq. ID. No. 1 to 4, wherein one or more amino acids selected from the 182nd proline, the 187th tyrosine, the 188th serine, the 405th tryptophan, the 406th alanine, the 407th glutamine, the 449th tyrosine, the 483rd threonine, the 512th serine, the 531st serine, the 533rd serine, the 534th serine, the 550th asparagine, the 551st glutamine, the 593rd tryptophan, the 598th tyrosine, the 602nd proline, the 604th proline, the 609th tyrosine, the 612th lysine, and the 615th tyrosine, or an amino acid corresponding thereto, is substituted by another amino acid.
