Provided are a modified-layered-silicate-based aldehyde-free flame-retardant adhesive, a preparation method therefor and an application thereof. The method comprises: first, adding 20-30 parts by weight of layered silicate and 2-5 parts by weight of molybdenum disulfide into a buffer solution, and with the help of ultrasonic oscillation, obtaining a suspension; then, adding 5-10 parts by weight of animal protein into the suspension, stirring using ultrasonic oscillation, letting stand for 10-12 hours, retrieving the precipitate, and repeatedly washing 10-20 times; drying the precipitate, grinding to 200-240 mesh, mixing 2-5 parts by weight of zinc borate with the precipitate, and stirring to obtain a modified-layered-silicate-based flame retardant; and finally, sequentially adding 20-30 parts by weight of the modified-layered-silicate-based flame retardant, 10-20 parts by weight of flour and 0.5-1.0 part by weight of a silane coupling agent into 100 parts by weight of a lignin formaldehyde-free adhesive, and stirring at high speed and mixing uniformly to obtain the modified-layered-silicate-based aldehyde-free flame-retardant adhesive; the modified-layered-silicate-based aldehyde-free flame-retardant adhesive has high fluidity, does not release formaldehyde and has good bonding strength.
