Abstract:
Provided are: a modified natural rubber having more favorable fuel economy and tensile strength than an unmodified natural rubber; a rubber composition using the same; and a method for producing a modified natural rubber. The modified natural rubber having a linking structure represented by general formula (C) is formed by bonding a polyisoprene having a structure represented by general formula (A) and/or general formula (B) to an amino compound having at least two primary amino groups in the structure thereof. In formulae (A) and (B), X represents a hydrogen atom or a methyl group, and P represents a polyisoprene unit, and P in each formula may be the same or different. In formula (C), W represents a residue except for the terminal amino group from the amino compound, Q represents at least one selected from the group consisting of general formulae (Q-1) to (Q-4), and m represents 2-4. In addition, in general formulae (Q-1) to (Q-4), *1 represents being bonded to a carbon atom of the polyisoprene unit, and *2 represents being bonded to a carbon atom of the residue represented by W.
