Abstract:
The present invention relates to an apparatus and method for simultaneously removing fine dust and harmful gases which are included in exhaust gas generated in a thermal power plant, an incineration facility, or the like. The method for removing harmful gases according to the present invention is a method for removing the harmful gases by using a modular harmful gas removal apparatus in which two or more unit modules are arranged in succession, wherein: the plurality of unit modules are successively arranged and connected according to the components to be removed among harmful components included in the harmful gases; and the compositions of liquid mediums injected into reaction tanks of the respective unit modules are made different from each other so that different harmful components can be removed in the respective unit modules.
