Abstract:
An interface module (10) for a vehicle crash management system (11) wherein the interface module (10) comprises a support structure (12) and a covering layer (13), and the interface module (10) is adapted for attaching a crash box (14) to a bumper beam (15). A first section (16) of the support structure (12) is adapted for being placed in direct contact with the bumper beam (15). A second section (17) of the support structure (12) comprises a recess (18) adapted for receiving one end (19) of the crash box (14), and the second section (17) is further adapted for being covered by the covering layer (13). The covering layer (13) is adapted for being arranged on the second section (17), such that the support structure (12) is completely enclosed between the bumper beam (15) and the covering layer(13).The application further comprises a crash management system and a method for assembling such a system.
