Abstract:

A mold device, comprising a pair of upper and lower molds used for forming a score on an easy-open end having the score on one of the faces thereof and using a laminated metal sheet. The upper mold comprises a score forming protrusion, and the portion of the cross sectional shape of the protrusion in contact with the laminated metal sheet is formed of a curve or a curve and a straightline having the change rate of the inclination thereof relative to the upper surface of the lower mold opposed thereto is 0.08 or less. The maximum width of the score formed is 0.80 mm or less.
