Abstract:

Provided is a mold set for not only general consumers but producers as well, that, with regards to paper products in general, does not use a metallic binding needle, glue, or the like, excels in the areas of safety, productivity, and cost, and is used in equipment for binding easily-disposable paper. The mold set for paper binding comprises a pair of oppositely disposed molds (1, 2) that are provided with mutually interlockable teeth (5, 6) on the opposite surfaces (3, 4) thereof, compresses a plurality of sheets of paper, which have been stacked in the molds (1, 2), from both sides in the thickness direction of the stack, and binds the plurality of sheets of paper by interlocking the teeth (5, 6) of the molds (1, 2); wherein the teeth (5, 6) provided on the opposite surfaces (3, 4) of each of the molds (1, 2) are roughly triangular in cross section, have a prescribed face width, and are disposed in a plurality in a line on the opposite surfaces (3, 4). From among the teeth (5, 6) provided on the opposite surfaces (3, 4) of each of the molds (1, 2), one side or both sides in the width direction of the teeth (5 (6)) provided on one mold (1 (2)) are slanted sections (9) that slant towards the top (7) of the teeth (5 (6)) in the narrow width direction, and the top (7) of teeth (6 (5)) provided on the other mold (2 (1)) opposite the former teeth (5 (6)) lock with the gap bottoms (8) by the slanted sections (9) of the teeth (5 (6)) provided on the one mold (1 (2)).
