Abstract:

Provided is a mold for a tire capable of reducing the incidence of bares and the incidence of rubber residue penetration in the gas venting passage. A bead ring is characterized in comprising a cavity surface, an outside surface positioned on the opposite side of the cavity surface, and an external peripheral surface for connecting the cavity surface and the outside surface, wherein the external peripheral surface is bisected in the thickness direction of the bead ring, one region being a first external peripheral surface adjacent to the cavity surface and the other region being a second external peripheral surface adjacent to the outside surface; a knurled groove produced by knurling is formed on the first external peripheral surface, whereby a first gap is formed between the first external peripheral surface and a side plate; the outside diameter of the second external peripheral surface is made to be less than the outside diameter of the first external peripheral surface, whereby a second gap is formed between the first external peripheral surface and the side plate; a plurality of vent grooves is formed in the outside surface, whereby a third gap is formed between the outside surface and the side plate; and a gas venting route is formed by the first to third gaps.
