Abstract:

A mold for an ultra-high pressure generator made of cemented carbide, wherein the cemented carbide comprises a first phase made of a plurality of tungsten carbide particles and a second phase containing cobalt, the Vickers hardness of the cemented carbide is 2000 Hv or greater, the die strength of the cemented carbide is 2.3 GPa or greater, the mold for an ultra-high pressure generator has a truncation surface, and the compressive residual stress of the truncation surface is 1.50 GPa or greater.
