Abstract:
Provided is a manufacturing method for a molded object comprising a rod-shaped shaft body and a molded part formed by laminating, onto the outer periphery of the shaft body, a weld bead obtained by melting and solidifying a filler material. The method includes: a groove machining step for forming a groove by cutting into the outer periphery of the shaft body; a groove sealing step for forming a cavity section by sealing the groove by forming a weld bead along the groove at the edge of the groove in the shaft body; and a molding step for molding the molded part by laminating the weld bead onto the outer periphery of the shaft body.
