Abstract:
Provided are a molding device and the like capable of suppressing curvature of an irregularly-shaped magnet roll and level differences on the surface thereof when the magnet roll is extrusion molded. A molding device for molding a magnet roll having an irregularly-shaped cross section is provided with: a heating and kneading unit for supply to a cylindrical die; an extrusion molding unit that molds a supplied kneaded material by means of the die; and a magnetic field generation unit that is disposed at an end in the longitudinal direction of the die and generates a magnetic field within the die. The die is configured such that an inlet for the kneaded material has an irregular C-shaped cross section, and an outlet for the kneaded material has a more complicated irregularly-shaped cross section than the inlet.
