The present invention makes it possible to prevent a particulate raw material from scattering or the like and to properly compression-mold a particulate raw material, makes it possible to efficiently heat a compression-molded raw material in a short length of time in a heating unit, and makes it possible to efficiently cool, in a short length of time in a cooling unit, a raw material that was heated in a heating unit, thereby efficiently producing a molded article. Provided in the stated order are the following: a molding unit (10) for compression-molding a particulate raw material (x); a heating unit (20) for heating, by an external heating means (21), the raw material (x) that was compression-molded in the molding unit (10); and a cooling unit (30) for cooling the raw material (x) that was heated in the heating unit (20). A communication member (40) is provided so as communicate through at least a middle section of the molding unit (10) and the heating unit (20). An internal heating means (41) for heating the raw material (x) in the heating unit (20) from the interior side is provided to the communication member (40) in the heating unit (20).
