Abstract:
Provided is a molding machine safety device, which does not easily generate abrasion powder or noise and which is very durable and quiet. The mechanical safety device for molding machines is configured from: a safety bar (21) that is disposed parallel to the direction in which a stationary plate (11) and a movable plate (12) are arranged; and a stopper (22), which is attached to the movable plate (12) and which engages with the safety bar (21) when the safety door (5) is open and is disengaged from the safety bar (21) when the safety door (5) is closed. The safety bar (21) is configured from a main body (27) on which multiple fixed teeth (26) for engaging with the stopper (22) are formed in the longitudinal direction, and an eccentric shaft (28) provided on an end of the main body (27).
