Abstract:
A molding machine provided with a movable die plate (6) on which a movable die (5) is mounted, a fixed die plate (3) on which a fixed die (8) is mounted, and multiple metal tie bars (4) that are fixed on the fixed die plate (3) and guide the movable die plate (6) so as to advance and retract freely. The molding machine is provided with: temperature adjustment blocks (9) that cover the circumference of the tie bars (4) and are disposed near the fixed die plate (3); piping (10) for supplying a medium to the temperature adjustment blocks (9); and a temperature adjustment means (11) for adjusting the temperature of the liquid supplied to the temperature adjustment blocks (9) through the piping (10). A liquid adjusted to a specified temperature by the temperature adjustment means (11) is supplied to the temperature adjustment blocks (9) through the piping (10) and the respective temperatures of the tie bars (4) in contact with the temperature adjustment blocks (9) are adjusted so as to reach a desired temperature, thereby making it possible to adjust the clamping force.
