Abstract:

It is possible to appropriately recover a trouble in an electronic money system in which an online terminal and an offline terminal are mixed. A flag capable of selectively setting two values of “transaction in progress” and “transaction complete” is prepared in both of an electronic money card and a center server. When information processing is performed between the electronic money card and the center server, their flags are set (inverting from “transaction complete” to “transaction in progress”) or reset (resetting “transaction complete” from “during transaction”) while performing processing with synchronization. When a trouble occurs during the processing, the flag states at the moment when the trouble has occurred are stored in both of them, and it is possible to identify the moment when the trouble has occurred from the states.
