Abstract:
In a monitor device (1), when a determination process is commenced as to whether at least a portion of an object which is present within a probe range is floating matter, measurement devices (30, 401) measure the distance to the object present within the probe range for each unit region, and a scattering quantity computation device (403) computes a dispersal of the measured distance corresponding to each unit region (specific distances). A threshold quantity variability setting device (405) sets a determination dispersal threshold on the basis of the specific distances. If the computed dispersal exceeds the determination dispersal threshold, a determination device (407) determines that at least a portion of the detected object is floating matter.
