Abstract:
A monitor system comprises a plurality of sensors for detecting external environments at different locations; an imaging apparatus connected to a communication network; and a control apparatus for controlling the imaging apparatus. The control apparatus includes an environment input part that receives, from the plurality of sensors, the environment values indicative of the respective external environments, and a trap control part that, when the environment value from a sensor satisfies a set condition corresponding to that sensor, transmits, to the imaging apparatus, an imaging direction designation trap message to designate an imaging in an imaging direction corresponding to that sensor. The imaging apparatus includes a camera part that performs imaging, a drive part that changes the imaging direction of the camera part, and a drive control part that controls the drive part to orient the camera part in the imaging direction designated by the imaging direction designation trap message, thereby causing the camera part to perform imaging in the designated imaging direction.
