Abstract:
The present invention provides a monitoring camera system in which each of monitoring cameras is provided with an image recognition means, and with which, by having image-recognized information exchanged by the monitoring cameras with each other, it is possible to reduce a processing load pertaining to image recognition by a control terminal, and also reduce a processing load and processing time in the entire system. A monitoring camera system configured from a monitoring camera for photographing the inside of an area to be monitored, a display terminal for displaying the image photographed by the monitoring camera, and a control terminal for controlling the monitoring camera, wherein the monitoring camera system is characterized in that the monitoring camera is provided with an image analysis means for performing image recognition on the basis of the image photographed by the monitoring camera itself and extracting a specific object information, and an information communication means for exchanging, with other monitoring cameras, the specific object information extracted by the image analysis means.
