Abstract:
Disclosed is a monitoring device for intelligently reminding to take a drug, and a method therefor. The monitoring device for intelligently reminding to take drugs (9) comprises a shell (1), a CPU control unit (2), a communication module (3), a loudspeaker (4), an information display and input device (5), a camera (6), a drug supply device (7) and a power supply (8). According to prescribing information, the monitoring device for intelligently reminding to take a drug (9) is remotely set up by a specific website of a background server, with such information as what time to remind a patient to take a drug and the like. When it is the set time for taking a drug, the monitoring device for intelligently reminding to take a drug (9) will remind the patient to take a drug by sound or display, etc. After determining a patient's identification, the drugs will be dispensed for the patient to take. If the patient still has not taken the drug after the set time period passes, the device will inform a caregiver predetermined in advance by phone, by sending a short message or by sending information to the background website.
