Abstract:
A monitoring device (1) stores address management information (t1) that indicates address information carried by each network apparatus and that indicates connection to each network apparatus. A detection unit (12) detects a failure of a router (R1) by a notification from each network apparatus. An acquisition unit (11) acquires information from each network apparatus with respect to the detected failure. A rewriting unit (13) rewrites the address management information (t1), on the basis of the acquired information, such that a router (R2) has a virtual IP address and a virtual MAC address set in a virtual router VR.
