Abstract:
The present invention suppresses the operation of a monitoring camera to thereby achieve power saving, reduce monitoring record information amount, and further shorten the time required for an administrator or the like to make confirmation. When a physical load is applied to any piezoelectric element 11 of a piezoelectric element assembly 13 in a monitoring region, a monitoring camera 15 is notified to that effect. The monitoring camera 15 performs weighted range determination processing as to whether a weighted range falls within a predetermined range. If the weighted range falls within the predetermined weighted range, the monitoring camera 15 brings a camera function into an activated state, and transmits photographing data to a monitoring device 17. The monitoring device 17 records the photographing data transmitted from the monitoring camera 15.
