Abstract:
The present invention provides a monomer composition for contact lenses that exhibit good surface hydrophilicity, good oxygen permeability, while having excellent modulus and excellent elongation at break, said monomer composition producing a polymer using a polysiloxane monomer. It is found that the above objective is able to be achieved by a monomer composition which contains a phosphorylcholine group-containing polysiloxane monomer, a monovinyl ether monomer or the like.
