Abstract:
A mortar or concrete which comprises the following components (A), (B) and (C): (A) a cement, (B) a fine slag powder having a particle diameter of 100 μm or less, and (C) a slag aggregate selected from among (C-1) a slag aggregate having a vitrification percentage of 10 % or less, (C-2) a molten slag aggregate comprising a sewage sludge molten slag and/or a municipal refuse molten slag, and (C-3) a molten slag aggregate having a content of an iron component of 15 mass % or more in terms of an oxide and a total content of iron and calcium components of 30 mass % or more in terms of an oxide. The mortar or concrete exhibits acid resistance, particularly, high resistance to sulfuric acid, and is less susceptible to deterioration and is capable of exhibiting high strength with stability, even when exposed to an acidic atmosphere due to sulfuric acid for a long period of time.
