Abstract:
The present application relates to a motion detection device and a motion detection method. A motion detection device according to one embodiment of the present invention may comprise: a sound wave generation unit for periodically outputting sound waves in a secure space; a sound wave reception unit for measuring the sound waves reflected in the secure space and generating a plurality of sound wave signals for each frequency; an analysis unit for generating analysis data by signal processing the sound wave signals, and generating an adaptive threshold reflecting environmental characteristics of the secure space; and a determination unit for comparing the analysis data with the adaptive threshold, and detecting motion in the secure space.
