Description:
Motion Simulation System

Technical Field

The invention is related to a motion simulation system to be used in entertainment and education sectors.

The invention is particularly related to a motion simulation system which has a movable seat.

Prior Art

Especially in big cities, people want to spend time by making entertaining activities in their spare times. Particularly in winter with cold temperatures, closed entertainment centers (shopping centers) are preferred. There are funfair tools in the entertainment centers which are designed for children and in some cases adults. These tools are designed with very different structures for entertaining the people except the tools such as the swing carousel. For example the tools which move upward and downward, tools that rotate around their own axes or a determined circle etc. On these tools there are seats where people sit thereon. People fasten themselves to the seats by means of a locking system or similar structures as a safety belt in order not to be harmed during movement. Said seats can move with determined angles in an upward, downward manner, to the right and to the left etc. according to the motion capabilities.

Except the funfair tools mentioned above, simulator cinema halls increasingly become widespread nowadays. In these simulator cinema halls, people are enabled to have more fun while the seats are moved in an upward, downward manner, to the left and right at predetermined angles. However the motion capabilities of the seats in the simulator cinema halls are limited. For this reason, people do not take pleasure on these tools anymore. Besides, due to heavy structures of the systems within the current art, assembly and transportation processes entails various problems. For example, in the utility model application No TR 2013-13527, a simulator cinema with a full tour rotation capability is provided. The invention is a simulator cinema which has full tour rotation capability and has bracelets that transmits the electric current mutually, the upper chassis can be movable from the right or the left by means of the steel rope connected to the pulley section located at the bottom portion while it is rotated full tour and it has a movable characteristic by means of the pulley hinges in the housing located within the bottom chassis; it comprises system control panel, upper chassis, transmission bracelet, seating portion, cabin, servo motor with reducer, steel rope, auxiliary pulleys, main pulley, pulley hinge, motion housing, servo motor with reducer and bottom chassis. However in said invention, the whole system has the capability of full tour rotation. The seats included within the invention cannot be possibly rotate full tour independent of the system. In addition to this, the assembly and transportation processes of the invention are difficult due to its heavy structure.

As a result, the insufficiency of the current structures requires making a development in the relevant technical field.

Brief Description of the Invention

The present invention is related to a motion simulation system to be used in the entertainment and education sectors.

The main aim of the invention is to provide a motion simulation system with high freedom degree which can be rotated in full tour (360%

Another aim of the invention is to provide a motion simulation system which comprises a seat group that is capable of full tour (360°) rota tion in contrast to the seat structures only with forward and backward motion in the current applications.

Another aim of the invention is to enable a motion simulation system which is practical in terms of transportation, assembly and installation.

In order to fulfill all aims mentioned above and emerged from the following detailed description, the present invention is a motion simulation system to be used in the entertainment sector which comprises a seat group which allows the users to sit thereon and a motor group which gives the required drive to said seat group. The structural and characteristic features of the present invention will be understood clearly by the following drawings and the detailed description made with reference to these drawings and therefore the evaluation shall be made by taking these figures and the detailed description into consideration.

Detailed Description of the Invention

The invention is a motion simulation system (10) to be used in the entertainment sector which comprises a seat group (1 1 ) that allows the users to sit and a motor group (16) that enables the required drive to said seat group (1 1 ). Said motion simulation system (10) comprises the following;

• a rotation axis chassis (14) which enables rotating the seat group (1 1 ) perpendicular to the floor, around the x axis, to the right or left up to 360°,

• a reducer (13) which balances the rotational cycle during rotational motion by means of adjusting the drive cycle that is taken from the motor. In Figure 1 , a general view of the motion simulation system (10) is given. In this manner said motion simulation system (10) essentially consists of a seat group (1 1 ) and a motor group (16) which gives the required drive to said seat group (1 1 ). The seat group (1 1 ) is the section whereon people sit. The number of seats in the seat group (1 1 ) can be preferably 3-person, 4-person or 5-person. The seat group (1 1 ) is preferably made of fiberglass. The seat group (1 1 ) is engaged to the rotation axis chassis (14). The rotation axis chassis (14) is secured to the motion simulation system (10) by means of a piston or coupling elements (not shown in the figure). While the people are watching video in simulator systems, in order to give them pleasure, the seat group (1 1 ) can be rotated on the rotation axis chassis (14), perpendicular to the floor, around the X axis, to the right and to the left up to 360°. When the users sit on the s eat group (1 1 ) which is parallel to the floor in normal position, the seat group (1 1 ) can be able to rotate to the right or left in a full tour up to 360°. The rotational motion is provided by me ans of the motor group (16) and the reducer (13). After the motor group (16) receives the energy, then it transmits the drive to the reducer (13). The reducer (13) balances the rotational cycle during the rotational motion. The reducer (13) and the seat group (1 1 ) are rotated with a velocity in a manner such that people take pleasure. Together with the reducer (13), the rotational speed can be adjusted according to the requirements of the people as faster or slower.

The connection of the reducer (13) and the motor group (16) is provided by means of the belt system (15). The belt system (15) transmits the drive that it takes from the motor group (16) to the reducer (13). When the motor group (16) rotates, simultaneously the belt system (15) rotates and enables rotation of the reducer (13). The connection of the seat group (1 1 ) and the reducer (13) is provided by means of the reducer flange (12). The reducer flange (12) is engaged to the back portion of the seat group (1 1 ). Thus the seat group (1 1 ) is engaged to the reducer (13) from the rear portion.

The rotational process can be made around the X axis, to the right or to the left up to 360°. The rotational process is made by means of six axis motion in total. The movements of the axes are controlled by means of sensors. The motion safety and motion freedom is enabled by means of controlling each axis motion with separate sensors. The seat group (1 1 ) in the motion simulation system (10) is appropriate for applying special effects such as water, rain, wind, fog, snow, foot touch. As a result, together with the invention the people are enabled to have more fun by means of being rotated up to 360° in the simulation syste ms. Beneficial processes will be made by means of the invention developed according to its aim.
