Abstract:
This invention relates to a motion simulation system (1) developed for use in the entertainment and sports industries. The system of the invention (1) at first glance offers a real simulation experience far beyond an exercise and an exercise device. The System (1) offers a real-time structure that contains personal exercise, social network, entertainment and educational applications. With the system (1), people are offered an innovative, addictive, entertaining and exercise-filled lifestyle of future virtual life. With the system (1), people can visit cities and countries, play and compete, make educational trips to the universe and beyond, explore and learn about space and galaxies. In addition, people can perform all these activities by exercising.

Claims:
CLAIMS

1. A motion simulation system (1) developed for use in the entertainment and sports industries, characterized by comprising; a virtual reality goggles (2), which are used to display contents such as sports, travel and games uploaded on them to the user in a virtual environment, and to enabling activities to be performed simultaneously with different users by connecting to the internet when required, and a simulation bicycle (3) which has the ergonomics of a real bicycle and allows the user to experience real riding experience at the point of use for entertainment, travel or sports purposes, operates in accordance with the contents of an activity such as games and sports displayed via virtual reality goggles (2), transmits the riding operation performed by the user to the virtual reality goggles (2) and thereby allows the outcomes of these operations to be provided to the user while being displayed through virtual reality goggles (2).

2. The mentioned system according to claim 1 ; characterized by comprising virtual reality goggles (2) which operate with retina scanning and recognition system and belongs to a single individual and cannot be used by anyone else.

The mentioned system according to claim 1 ; characterized by comprising virtual reality goggles (2) which allow users to be registered on the system (1) with personal e-mails, mobile phone numbers and retina scans and thereby provides all data of the users to be secured and simulation bicycle (3).

4. The mentioned system according to claim 1 ; characterized by comprising virtual reality goggles (2) having the features of minimum 115-120 degree wide field of view,

4K resolution, display quality with 90Hz refresh rate,

845 Snapdragon, (Unreal/Unity), Wave SDK, Android 8.1) high level processor,

16 gb high ram size and 256 gb high hdd size,

6DOF, hands and eye tracking system, special perspiration reducing coating, touch screen compatible with virtual reality, easy to use with hands tracking system and connectivity to smartphones and other devices.

The mentioned system according to claim 1 ; characterized by comprising a simulation bicycle (3) having the features of real-time wind simulation, vibration simulation, and simulation with 2dof motion and difficulty levels total and final session health data on calorie burning and heartbeat, call for exercise or other activities, exercise data such as total and final exercise km (miles), speeds, routes, rank levels, and connectivity to smartphones and other devices.

The mentioned system according to claim 1 ; characterized by comprising a simulation bicycle comprising a chassis (31) that houses all the equipment of the simulation bicycle (3) and can be moved from a center of motion (311) to front and back to ensure ergonomics, a saddle (32), which can be height adjusted and allows the user to sit and ride, a steering unit (33) that allows the user to steer the simulation bicycle (3) right and left, a manual braking system (34) that allows the user to manually slow down or stop the simulation bicycle (3) while riding, a pedal system (35) with a disk (351), which allows the user to move the simulation bicycle (3), an active braking system (36), comprising a magnetic powder brake (361) which provides active response to data received from the virtual activity having a content such as sports, travel and game and to the brake system (34) controlled manually by the user, transmits the road activities from the virtual activity to the user and allows the data to be received from the virtual content, a sprocket (362) which transmits the braking motion of the brake system (34) to the disk (351) of the pedal system (35) and an adjustment disk (363) which allow the tension of the sprocket (362) to be adjusted, an actuator (37) which provide the motion of the chassis (31) up and down on a single axis based on the data received from the virtual activity having a content such as sports, travel and games by means of a shaft (372) moving by means of a motor

A MOTION SIMULATION SYSTEM

Technical Field

This invention relates to a motion simulation system developed for use in the entertainment and sports industries.

State of the Art

VR goggles, known as virtual reality goggles, have become widely used in recent years. Virtual reality goggles are technological goggles designed to show the screen images of phones, computers and many other devices produced by technologies such as LED, LCD, plasma that are common today more realistic, and to make the images to be perceived as more realistic by means of visual illusions (tricks). With virtual reality goggles, viewed image can be perceived more realistic; watching can be more enjoyable when watching a movie, playing a game or watching a 3D movie on a television screen can also be more enjoyable.

Today, there are no structures developed for use in the entertainment and sports industries that combine virtual goggles and bicycles to provide motion simulation.

The patent application document number TR2017/22643 in the literature describes a virtual goggle system suitable for use for display devices. The system in question provides no structures developed for use in the entertainment and sports industries that combine virtual goggles and bicycles to provide motion simulation.

As a result, due to the negativity described above and the inadequacy of the existing solutions on the subject, an improvement in the relevant technical area has been made necessary.

Aim of the Invention

The invention is inspired by existing situations and aims to solve the disadvantages mentioned above.

The aim of the invention is to provide a motion simulation system developed for use in the entertainment and sports industries.

Detailed Description of the Invention

In this detailed description, the preferred embodiments of the system (1) of the invention are explained for a better understanding of the subject.

This invention relates to a motion simulation system (1) developed for use in the entertainment and sports industries.

The system (1) of the invention, a representation of which is given in Figure 1 ; comprises virtual reality goggles (2), which are used to display contents such as sports, travel and games uploaded on them to the user in a virtual environment, and to enabling activities to be performed simultaneously with different users by connecting to the internet when required, and a simulation bicycle (3) which has the ergonomics of a real bicycle and allows the user to experience real riding experience at the point of use for entertainment, travel or sports purposes, operates in accordance with the contents of an activity such as games and sports displayed via virtual reality goggles (2), transmits the riding operation performed by the user to the virtual reality goggles (2) and thereby allows the outcomes of these operations to be provided to the user while being displayed through virtual reality goggles (2).

The system of the invention (1) at first glance offers a real simulation experience far beyond an exercise and an exercise device. The System (1) offers a real-time structure that contains personal exercise, social network, entertainment and educational applications. Exercise is a boring activity, and not many people willingly do it all the time and on time. People prefer to watch movies with their friends, play games or spend time on the social network.

With the system (1), people are offered an innovative, addictive, entertaining and exercise-filled lifestyle of future virtual life. With the system (1), people can visit cities and countries, play and compete, make educational trips to the universe and beyond, explore and learn about space and galaxies. In addition, people can perform all these activities by exercising.

With the system (1), people can perform all these activities alone or in real time with friends, colleagues, or in groups by forming groups.

With the system (1), travellers participating in paid competitions can win a variety of gifts, including a monetary prize from the pool collected depending on the results when they win. Depending on the difficulty levels of the routes, winners may get different prizes and gifts.

Travellers can always track the score tables, levels and results of other international and local travellers through system (1).

The specially developed system (1) provides high personal data security. Virtual reality goggles (2), which operate with retina scanning and recognition system, are preferably owned by a single person and cannot be used by anyone else. Users can register via virtual reality goggles (2) and simulation bicycle (3) to the system (1) with personal email, mobile phone number and retina scan. Thereby, all user date is safe.

Simulation bicycle (3) preferably comprises the features of; real-time wind simulation, vibration simulation, and simulation with 2dof motion and difficulty levels total and final session health data on calorie burning and heartbeat, call for exercise or other activities, exercise data such as total and final exercise km (miles), speeds, routes, rank levels, and connectivity to smartphones and other devices.

In the preferred embodiment of the invention, the simulation bicycle (3) comprises; a chassis (31) that houses all the equipment of the simulation bicycle (3) and can be moved from the center of motion (311 ) to front and back to ensure ergonomics, a saddle (32), which can be height adjusted and allows the user to sit and ride, a steering unit (33) that allows the user to steer the simulation bicycle (3) right and left, a manual braking system (34) that allows the user to manually slow down or stop the simulation bicycle (3) while riding, a pedal system (35) with a disk (351), which allows the user to move the simulation bicycle (3), an active braking system (36), comprising magnetic powder brake (361) which provides active response to data received from the virtual activity having a content such as sports, travel and game and to the brake system (34) controlled manually by the user, transmits the road activities from the virtual activity to the user and allows the data to be received from the virtual content, a sprocket (362) which transmits the braking motion of the brake system (34) to the disk (351) of the pedal system (35) and an adjustment disk (363) which allow the tension of the sprocket (362) to be adjusted, an actuator (37) which provide the motion of the chassis (31) up and down on a single axis based on the data received from the virtual activity having a content such as sports, travel and games by means of the shaft (372) moving by means of the motor (371) it comprises and the rotation of the motor (371), a wind unit (38), which allows the user to feel the wind activity in a virtual activity with content such as sports, travel and games and a control unit (39), which provides the connection between the virtual goggles (2) and the simulation bicycle (3) and provides the exchange of data for the activities performed for the virtual content and provides the user with the data for the activities performed
