Abstract:
The present invention is a motion simulator (100) to be used as a motion simulator in various sectors such as entertainment sector, education sector and so on, having the main body (101) on which parts are connected, a seating assembly (102) on which people sit, and a motion system (103) which provides necessary drive to enable the said seating assembly (102) to perform various movements, comprising; a moving platform (104) to which said seat assembly (102) and motion system (103) are connected, a rotation bed (105) which allows the moving platform (104) to be connected to the main body (101) and to make the rotational movement in a certain axis, a platform drive unit (106) connected to said moving platform (104), providing the drive necessary for positioning the moving platform (104) to the boarding position and flight position, a guiding unit (107) for positioning the moving platform (104) on the main body (101) in the correct position.

CLAIMS

1. A motion simulator (100) to be used as a motion simulator in various sectors such as entertainment sector, education sector, having the main body (101 ) on which parts are connected, a seating assembly (102) on which people sit, and a motion system (103) which provides necessary drive to enable the said seating assembly to perform various movements characterized by comprising;

- a moving platform (104) to which said seat assembly (102) and motion system (103) are connected,

- a rotation bed (105) which allows the moving platform (104) to be connected to the main body (101 ) and to make the rotational movement in a certain axis,

- a platform drive unit (106) connected to the said moving platform (104), providing the drive necessary for positioning the moving platform (104) to the boarding position and flight position,

- a guiding unit (107) for positioning the moving platform (104) on the main body (101 ) in the correct position.

2. A motion simulator (100) according to Claim 1 , characterized by comprising; a female guiding member (107.1 ) that bears a male guiding member (107.2) that is connected to the moving platform (104) while the motion simulator (100) is in flight position.

A motion simulator (100) according to Claim 1 , characterized by comprising; a male guiding member (107.2) connects a female guiding member (107.1 ) that is attached to the main body (101 ) to provide resistance of the motion simulator (100) to the lateral forces while the motion simulator (100) is in flight position.

4. A motion simulator (100) according to Claim 1 , wherein; the said hydraulic unit is selected as the platform drive unit (106).

Description:
A Motion Simulator with a Seating Group That Can Be Leveled Down to Boarding

Position

Technical Field

The invention relates to a motion simulator with a moving platform that positions the seat group to the boarding position of people, and which is used in the entertainment sector, education sector, and various other fields.

In particular, the invention relates to a motion simulator, which has been developed for use in the entertainment and education sector and, via its movable platform, positions the seat group at a level where people can sit on their seats without using any steps.

Prior Art

There are various motion simulator systems developed for use in the entertainment and education sector in present.

Since the moving seats are on a fixed frame in the prior art and its applications, people need to be brought to the seats using various systems. However, in doing so, security measures are of great importance.

In state of the art, it is possible to reach the seat by using stairs. However, since the platform is moving and rotating 360°, the guardrail t hat is required for security measures cannot be constructed. This situation jeopardizes the safety of people. It can cause injuries and casualties.

As a result, improvements are made in the motion simulator, so that new structures are needed to eliminate the disadvantages mentioned above and to bring solutions to the existing systems.

Description of the Invention

The present invention relates to a motion simulator that meets the above-mentioned requirements, eliminates all disadvantages and brings some additional advantages.

The main purpose of the invention is to introduce a motion simulator, which has been developed for use in the entertainment and education sector and, via its moving platform, positions the seat group at a level where people can sit on their seats without using any steps. Another purpose of the invention is to prevent the use of stairs/ladders or various systems to transport people to the seat group and consequently prevent accidents, injuries, or loss of life experienced during that process.

Another purpose of the invention is to prevent people from climbing to the seat by using ladders, thus allowing more safety measures to be taken while sitting on the seats.

Another purpose of the invention is to reduce the seat group to the level where people can sit in the seats without using any steps, by connecting the seat group to the moving platform with a rotating bed and hydraulic unit instead of connecting it to a fixed chassis.

Another purpose of the invention is to enable the moving platform to move into the boarding position and flight position by means of the hydraulic unit.

Another purpose of the invention is to ensure that the moving platform is positioned on the main body in the required position by means of the control unit.

In order to realize all the advantages mentioned above and to be understood from the following detailed description, the present invention is a motion simulator to be used as a motion simulator in various sectors such as entertainment sector, education sector, having the main body on which parts are connected, a seating assembly on which people sit, and a motion system which provides necessary drive to enable the said seating assembly to perform various movements, comprising; a moving platform to which said seat assembly and movement system are connected, a rotation bed which allows the moving platform to be connected to the main body and to make the rotational movement in a certain axis, a platform drive unit connected to said moving platform, providing the drive necessary for positioning the moving platform to the boarding position and flight position, a guide unit for positioning the moving platform on the main body in the correct position.

The structural and characteristic features and all advantages of the invention outlined in the drawings below and in the detailed description made by referring these figures will be understood clearly. Therefore, the evaluation should be made considering these figures and detailed explanations.

In order to be able to understand the advantages of the present invention together with the additional elements, it is necessary to evaluate it with the figures explained below.

Figure-1 is the perspective view of the motion simulator of the invention in the flight position. Figure-2 is the perspective view of the motion simulator of the invention in the boarding position.

Figure-3 is the detailed perspective view of the motion simulator of the invention in the boarding position.

Figure-4 is the detailed perspective view of the motion simulator of the invention in the flight position.

Figure-5 is another detailed perspective view of the motion simulator of the invention in the flight position.

Detailed Description of The Invention

Figure-1 shows the perspective view of the motion simulator (100) of the invention in the flight position, and Figure-2 shows the perspective view of the motion simulator (100) of the invention in the boarding position. The invention, which was developed for use in the entertainment and education sector, is a system that allows the seating assembly to be positioned at the level where people can sit in their seats without using any steps and then be brought into flight position thanks to its moving platform.

Figure-4 shows the perspective view of the motion simulator (100) of the invention in the flight position, and Figure-3 shows the perspective view of the motion simulator (100) of the invention in the boarding position. The invention is used as a motion simulator in various sectors such as entertainment sector or education sector. The invention includes the main body (101 ) on which the parts are connected. There is a seating assembly (102) on which people sit. The motion system (103) provides the necessary drive to enable said seating assembly (102) to perform various movements. The said seating assembly (102) and motion system (103) are connected to the moving platform (104). The rotation bed (105) allows the moving platform (104) to be connected to the main body (101 ) and to be able to make the rotation movement on a specific axis. There is a platform drive unit (106) connected to the said moving platform (104) which provides the necessary drive to position the moving platform (104) in the boarding position and flight position. A hydraulic unit is selected as the platform drive unit (106). The guiding unit (107) ensures that the moving platform (104) is positioned in the correct position on the main body (101 ). While the motion simulator (100) is in flight position, there is the female guiding member (107.1 ) that bears the male guiding member (107.2) that is connected to the moving platform (104). When the motion simulator (100) is in the flight position, the male guiding member (107.2) connects the female guiding member (107.1 ) that is attached to the main body (101 ) to provide resistance of the motion simulator (100) to the lateral forces.

Figure-5 shows another perspective view of the motion simulator (100) of the invention in the boarding position, and Figure-6 shows the section perspective view of the motion simulator (100) of the invention in the boarding position.

The working principle of the motion simulator (100) of the invention is as follows:

People sit in the seating assembly (102) while the motion simulator (100) is positioned in the boarding position. By means of the drive provided by the platform drive unit (106), the moving platform (104), which is connected to the rotation bed (105), switches to the flight position. The moving platform (104) standing in the flight position is secured in the required position via the guiding unit (107) comprising the female guiding member (107.1 ) on the main body (101 ) and the male guiding member (107.2) on the moving platform (104). Then movements begin in the flight position via the motion system (103) of the moving simulation machine (100). After the movements are completed, the moving platform (104) moves to the boarding position with the drive from the platform drive element (106) and people left their seats.
