Abstract:
An idler pulley (13) which is rotatably supported by a roller bearing (17) is provided between a drive pulley (12) and a driven pulley (15), and an elastic member layer (18) is provided to the outer diameter surface of the idler pulley (13). A pair of flanges (22) are provided to the respective outer diameter surfaces of the drive pulley (12) and the driven pulley (15). When the idler pulley (13) is in contact with both the drive pulley (12) and the driven pulley (15), and axial force is exerted on pulley contact portions in opposite directions, one of the flanges (22) comes into contact with the elastic member layer (18), and the axial force is supported by both the drive pulley (12) and the driven pulley (15). Accordingly, the exertion of a large rotational moment on the roller bearing (17) which rotatably supports the idler pulley (13) is inhibited.
