A motor control device (27) includes a control unit (27a) for controlling a motor (26), which is a drive source for an integrated valve device (24) provided in a vehicular refrigeration cycle device (D). The motor control device controls the integrated valve device by means of the motor, to switch a refrigerant flow in accordance with a drive mode of the refrigeration cycle device. The integrated valve device includes a single motor and a valve main body portion (25). The valve main body portion includes a shaft portion (44) which moves in the axial direction thereof on the basis of the drive of the motor, and a plurality of valves (31, 32, 33) which open and close by mating in the axial direction with the shaft portion. The control unit performs an operation detecting process of detecting the operating state of the shaft portion, and an abnormality determination process of determining if an abnormality has occurred in the operation of the integrated valve device, on the basis of the detection result obtained by the operation detecting process when the motor is in an energized state.
