Abstract:
A motor control device provided with a rotation position detector capable of detecting the rotation position of a motor every 180° by electric angle, wherein a configuration is obtained having high responsiveness at the start of rotation of the motor. The motor control device 1 is provided with: a motor drive control unit 11 for controlling the driving of a motor 2 using a prescribed phase; a rotation position detection unit 13 for outputting two types of detection signals in accordance with the rotation position of the rotor 51 of the motor 2 every 180° by electric angle of the motor 2; a stop position estimation unit 31 for estimating the stop position at the start of rotation of the rotor 51, using the time elapsed from the start of rotation of the rotor 51 until the type of the detection signal outputted from the rotation position detection unit 13 switches; a rotation speed estimation unit 32 for estimating the rotation speed of the rotor 51 using the elapsed time and the stop position; and an estimated phase calculation unit 40 for calculating, using the rotation speed, the estimated phase serving as the prescribed phase.
