Abstract:
The present invention proposes a technique for more properly measuring the viscosity of grease in a motor. The present invention is a motor control device for controlling a motor, the device having a first vibration attenuation time detecting unit that rotates a rotor of the motor as far as a first reference position by allowing the flow of current to the motor, and stops the rotor, and detects a first vibration attenuation time after the rotation of the rotor starts until the vibration of the rotor attenuates. The first vibration attenuation time has a strong correlation with the viscosity of grease.
