Abstract:
This motor control method comprises: a determination step for, when controlling the motion of a motor in a fluid supply device which has the motor, a speed reducer coupled to an output shaft of the motor, a screw coupled to the speed reducer, a nut member which is fitted to the screw and axially moves along the rotation shaft of the screw in association with the rotation of the screw, a piston which is axially movable as a result of the axial movement of the nut member, and a storage chamber for storing a fluid, the storage amount of which increase or decrease in accordance with the axial movement of the piston, and while the motor is energized so as to move the nut member in a first direction, determining the presence or absence of a contact portion at which the screw and the nut member are in contact with each other but at a spot other than a portion where the nut member is fitted to the screw; and a return step for, when it has been determined in the determination step that the contact portion is present, energizing the motor so as to move the nut member in a second direction, reverse to the first direction, until the contact portion is eliminated.
