Abstract:
Provided is a motor drive circuit capable of reducing the ripple current of a capacitor. A motor drive circuit 100 comprises: three output terminals 102, a first input terminal P, a second input terminal N, a capacitor C, and three series bodies 112. At least a part of a period when the output currents of two phases are positive currents and the output current of one phase is a negative current among the output currents of three phases includes a positive one 1-on 2-off period in which at each predetermined PWM cycle, a first semiconductor switching element corresponding to one of the phases having a positive output current is on, and the first semiconductor switching element corresponding to the remaining two phases is off, and a positive other 1-on 2-off period in which the first semiconductor switching element corresponding to the other phase among the phases whose output current is positive current is on, and the first semiconductor switching element corresponding to the remaining two phases is off, and the waveform of the output voltage of the three-phase is a waveform in which the voltage is uniformly lowered with respect to the waveform of the sinusoidal voltage of the three-phase.
