Abstract:
This motor drive device (80) is connected to a motor (30) by means of a first connection line (41), a second connection line (42), and a third connection line (43) which respectively correspond to a first phase, a second phase and a third phase, and drives the motor (30), the motor drive device being provided with: an inverter (20) which converts a DC voltage to a three-phase AC voltage and outputs the three-phase AC voltage to the motor (30); a voltage detection circuit (50) which detects a first voltage based on the potential difference between the potential of the first connection line (41) and a reference potential; and a control unit (70) which calculates a voltage value of the DC voltage using the first voltage and controls the operation of the inverter (20) using the voltage value.
