Abstract:
This motor drive device (2) is provided with an inverter (11) for outputting AC voltage to a single-phase motor (12) and a control unit (25) for controlling the AC voltage output by the inverter (11). The control unit (25) drives switching elements (51, 52, 53, 54) constituting the inverter (25) on the basis of a carrier and a voltage command. The period of the carrier and the period of the voltage command are not synchronized.
