Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention, in a motor drive device that receives power provided from a DC power source, is to reduce ripples contained in the current flowing in a DC power source during execution of single pulse control. A motor drive device (1) is provided with an inverter control device (10) having a single pulse control mode that, during a single cycle of an electrical angle, applies a square wave voltage of single positive and negative pulses to switching elements corresponding to each phase, as a gate drive signal. The inverter control device (10), in a case where the single pulse control mode is executed, causes the duty to gradually increase or decrease at a prescribed phase angle width when a square wave voltage rises and falls.
