Abstract:
In the motor drive device according to the present invention: in a first drive system, a first power supply circuit and a first central processing unit are arranged on a substrate in the stated order in a first direction; in a second drive system, a second power supply circuit and a second central processing unit are arranged on the substrate in the stated order in a second direction; each arrangement is disposed side by side on the substrate with the first direction and the second direction reversed; and the first central processing unit and the second central processing unit are disposed in a region flanked by a first virtual line and a second virtual line, where the first virtual line is a straight line orthogonal to the first direction and passing between the first power supply circuit and the first central processing unit in a plan view of the substrate, and the second virtual line is a straight line orthogonal to the second direction and passing between the second power supply circuit and the second central processing unit in a plan view of the substrate. This makes it possible suppress any rise in the amount of heat generated by heat-generating components of each drive system due to thermal interference while suppressing the occurrence of a difference in wiring resistance between the drive systems.
