Abstract:
This motor drive system (5) is provided with a plurality of inverter devices (3a)-(3n) connected in parallel with each other to a DC bus line (2). The inverter devices (3) are each provided with: a power conversion circuit (31) for converting DC power to AC power; a voltage detection circuit (32) for detecting DC voltage (Vdc); a smoothing capacitor (33) connected in parallel with the power conversion circuit (31); a regeneration circuit (34) having a resistor (341) and a semiconductor switching element (342); a state determination circuit (35) for determining whether the power conversion circuit (31) is in a regenerative state or not; and a regeneration control circuit (36) for performing control to bring the semiconductor switching element (342) into a conductive state or a cut-off state on the basis of the determination result by the state determination circuit (35) and the comparison result between the DC voltage and a determination threshold value.
