Abstract:
This motor is a single phase motor comprising a rotor with multiple magnetic poles, and a stator surrounding the rotor. The stator comprises a yoke which extends to surround the rotation shaft of the rotor, multiple teeth, specifically the same number of teeth as the number of magnetic poles, which extend in the direction from the yoke towards the rotation shaft, and a sensor which faces the rotor and is arranged between two of the multiple teeth that are adjacent to each other circumferentially around the rotation shaft. The line passing through the rotation shaft and the middle position between the two teeth in the circumferential direction is defined as a reference line. The center of the sensor in the circumferential direction is positioned circumferentially offset from the reference line.
