Abstract:
Provided is a motor insulation protecting device (200) comprising a motor (40)
disposed in a motor chamber (14), an inverter (16) for feeding an inverter voltage
to drive the motor (40), and pressurizing means for monitoring the internal pressure
in the motor chamber (14) and the inverter voltage of the inverter (16), to pressurize
the inside of the motor chamber in case the discharge occurrence of the motor is
predicted. The pressurizing means includes a pressure detecting unit (50)
for detecting the internal pressure in the motor chamber (14), a voltage detecting
unit disposed in a control unit (60) for detecting the inverter voltage of the
inverter (16), and a pressurizing mechanism (70) for pressurizing the inside
of the motor chamber (14) in accordance with the output from the control unit (60),
in case the detected internal pressure is lower than a preset internal pressure
for predicting the discharge occurrence and in case the detected inverter voltage
is higher than a preset inverter voltage for predicting the discharge occurrence.
