Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a motor protein device in which an antibody of interest can be efficiently transported and detected. [Solution] This motor protein device includes a trapping region in which carrier molecules trap molecules of interest using an antigen-antibody reaction, and an unloading region in which the molecules of interest are unloaded from the carrier molecules using chemical equilibrium. The motor protein device also includes: a transport path provided between the trapping region and the unloading region, the carrier molecules being capable of transporting the molecules of interest along the transport path; and an analysis part for detecting the change in concentration of the molecules of interest in the unloading region. The unloading region contains predetermined antibodies having a higher capturing power than predetermined antibodies modified by the carrier molecules. The molecules of interest are concentrated in the unloading region. The carrier molecules include actin modifying the predetermined antibodies, and the transport path includes immobilized myosin.
