Abstract:
This motor according to an embodiment of the present invention is provided with a rotor that has a rotor core configured by laminating a plurality of electromagnetic steel sheets, and a plurality of rotor magnets, and is rotatable around a center axis extending in the vertical direction, and a stator surrounding the rotor from a radial outside of the center axis, wherein: the rotor core is provided with a plurality of pairs of magnet insertion hole sections disposed so that a facing distance gradually increases toward the radial outside when viewed in the axial direction of the rotor core; the plurality of rotor magnets are positioned in the magnet insertion hole sections; the rotor core has a first block that is disposed by being split into two in the axial direction and a second block disposed between the two split first blocks; and when the angle formed by the rotor magnets in the pair of magnet insertion hole sections in the first block is defined as a first magnet open angle θ1, and the angle formed by the rotor magnets inside the pair of magnet insertion hole sections in the second block is defined as a second magnet open angle θ2, the second magnet open angle θ2 is greater than the first magnet open angle θ1.
