Abstract:
A motor unit comprising a dynamo-electric machine, a motor case, an inverter, an inverter case, a plate-shaped motor bus bar connected to the dynamo-electric machine at one end, a plate-shaped inverter bus bar connected to the inverter at one end, and a terminal block to which the motor bus bar and inverter bus bar are fixed with a bolt and a nut, the motor case and inverter case being integrated into a single unit, wherein the nut is held on the terminal block so as to be movable in the axial direction of the bolt, and the bolt penetrates through a through-hole in each of the motor bus bar and the inverter bus bar and is fastened to the nut. The motor unit further comprises a cover member formed from an insulating member, the cover member being equipped with a lid that is fixed to the motor case and a protrusion that protrudes from the lid to the inside of the motor case and presses the contact area between the motor busbar and the inverter busbar directly or via the bolt to the terminal block.
