Abstract:
Provided is a motor with a speed reducer, said motor being smaller and lighter weight, and having a simple structure with fewer parts. A motor with a speed reducer that reduces the rotation speed of a motor body (2) provided with a rotating shaft (21), and the rotating shaft (21), and outputs said reduced rotation speed from an output shaft, said motor comprising: a gear case (11) that is fixed to the motor body (2); a worm gear (12) that is fixed to a bearing (13) formed within the gear case (11) so as to be coaxial with the rotating shaft (21), and constituted from a three-toothed gear having a rotatable intermediate gear; a worm wheel (14) that is rotatably accommodated within the gear case (11) and meshes with the worm gear; a pinion gear (15) that is provided coaxial with the worm wheel (14) and freely rotates with the worm wheel (14); and an output gear (16) that meshes with the pinion gear (15). The output gear (16) is fixed to the output shaft, and reduces in speed the output of the motor.
