Abstract:
This motor is provided with a substantially cylindrical commutator and a carbon brush that makes contact with the outer circumferential surface of the commutator. The commutator has a contact member formed from a copper alloy including copper, in a contact region of the outer circumferential surface where the commutator makes contact with the carbon brush. The carbon brush includes a polishing material.
