Abstract:
The present invention suppresses the generation of foreign matter during the manufacturing of a motor. This motor (10) comprises: a stator (20) having a plurality of divided cores (21) that each include a core member (22) and an insulator (25) and that are also annularly coupled; and an annular frame (40) into which the stator (20) is inserted by means of shrink-fitting or press-fitting. The stator (20) is equipped with at least one first site (26) having a rigidity lower than that of the frame (40). A distance (R1) from the outermost peripheral part (26a) of the first site (26) to the axial center of the stator (20) is equal to or greater than a distance (R2) from the outermost peripheral part (23) of each core member (22) to the axial center of the stator (20). The first site (26) is disposed forward of at least the core members (22) in the direction in which the stator (20) is inserted into the frame (40).
