Abstract:
Disclosed are a mountable integrated scanning and milling system, and a method for using same. The system comprises a five-axis milling machine and an integrated scanning head. The integrated scanning head is used to be secured onto the five-axis milling machine in place of a milling cutter, and the five-axis milling machine drives the integrated scanning head to perform scanning of a side of a clay model; the integrated scanning head is secured onto an electric spindle of the five-axis milling machine, and the electric spindle is secured onto an AB axis device of the five-axis milling machine; the AB axis device adjusts rotation angles of the electric spindle in transverse and longitudinal directions. The integrated scanning head is secured onto the five-axis milling machine, a relative position of the integrated scanning head and an object to be scanned is adjusted by means of the five-axis milling machine, the five-axis milling machine carries the integrated scanning head to move in X-axis, Y-axis and Z-axis directions, and data acquired by the integrated scanning head is integrated into a computer, so that the computer analyzes a state of a scanned object.
