Abstract:
The objective of the invention is to confirm that a mountain climber has descended from a mountain. A mountain climber confirmation system to which the present invention has been applied is provided with: a climb notification management device which manages personal information, a climbing range and a climbing schedule, as recorded on a climb notification submitted by a mountain climber; an individual-identifying object having individual-identifying information identifying the mountain climber; and a location identifying terminal which identifies the position of the individual-identifying object. The individual-identifying object is registered in the climb notification management device before the mountain climber begins the climb. The location identifying terminal is connected to the climb notification management device by means of a network, identifies the position of the individual-identifying object, and transmits to the climb notification management device the individual-identifying information and position information indicating the position of the individual-identifying object.
