Abstract:
The invention relates to a mounting device for a sealing strip to be fastened to the window frame of a vehicle door. The mounting device contains a template (1) which can be detachably clamped onto the vehicle door and which defines the position of the sealing strip that is to be manually placed thereon. A rolling carriage (3) is placed on the template (1) and is guided along a rail section (4) of the template (1) between two stops (56) such that the roller (16) held by the rolling carriage travels over a predetermined area of the sealing strip. The roller (16) is pressed against the sealing strip by the force of a spring (15) in order to carry out this process with a uniform amount of force. The spring force can be adjusted according to the type of dry adhesive of the sealing strip.
