Abstract:
The present invention relates to a mounting structure for an assist grip, the mounting structure being configured so that a space for installing an airbag device is ensured and so that the strength of affixation of the assist grip is effectively ensured.
A mounting structure for an assist grip (10) which is disposed in proximity to the upper part of an airbag device (30) which is provided along the upper edge of the opening of a side panel (3), wherein the mounting structure is provided with: a base member (1), both ends of which are affixed to the side panel (3) located above the airbag device (30) and which has mounting seats (1c) located between both ends of the base member (1) and protruding toward the vehicle interior; and a bracket (2) having a first flange section (2a) which is located between both ends of the base member (1) and which is affixed to the side panel (3), second flange sections (2b) which are affixed to the mounting seats (1c), and connection sections (2c) which connect the first and second flange sections (2a, 2b), the connection sections (2c) having formed thereon affixation seats (2f) to which the assist grip (10) is affixed.
